Faithsteps Preschool Staff
Hi, my name is Keli Bledsoe. I came to Faithsteps as a Pre-K teacher for the 2016-2017 school year. In 2018-2019 I became the Director as well as a teacher. During that time I have been very blessed to share in the lives of the students, families and staff at Faithsteps.
Over the course of my Early Childhood career I have been able to explore many different facets of the profession. I began babysitting in my early teens, next I became a mom in 1980 and to be able to stay home with my 4 young children I became a licensed Day Care Provider. The next step in my journey, when my youngest child was 4 was to be asked to be a substitute preschool teacher at her parent-coop preschool, from there I was offered the position of Art teacher at the school. When a teaching position opened at the school I was very excited to be selected for the job! I soon went back to college to get my Directors certification and became Assistant Director and Teacher at the same coop. I left my position there to be the Infant Supervisor at the UNC Child Care Center for a few years before returning to the niche I love the most, a preschool age teacher at the same coop. I served as the Director/Teacher of the school for 6 years prior to marrying my husband, Rod Bledsoe, and moving to Windsor and finding my home at Faithsteps.
My own children are now all grown and have given me many wonderful grandchildren! Two of them so far have been students at Faithsteps. I love working with young children, helping them discover the joys of learning as they explore their world. I am so thankful that God selected the path of working with young children for me.

Hello, My name is Amy Knifong and I am so excited to start another year at Faithsteps Christian Pre-school. When I was 5 years old I told my parents I wanted to be a teacher. When I graduated from High School I went to college and received an Associate’s Degree in Child Development. Helping children learn and discover new things in our everchanging environment is so rewarding!
A little information about me. My husband Brian and I are from Missouri and moved to Colorado December of 2006. (yep the year we had the 22” inch snowstorm) We have two wonderful children Dylan and Kayla. We live on 2 ½ acre’s in Windsor where we have alpacas, chickens, dogs, reptiles and more!
Hi my name is Linda Barr, I am married to Brent Barr. I have two sons and five stepsons. I have thirteen grandchildren, eight granddaughters and five grandsons. The girls are winning!
I don't remember a time that I wasn't working with children. As a teenager I did babysitting. After I got married I worked in the youth and children's programs at church. I taught Sunday school and VBS for many years.
I worked full time as a hairdresser when the boys were born. After a few years I decided I wanted to stay home with them, so I started a home daycare. I did that for twelve years. We were all like family. I'm still in touch with many of them.
When our youngest graduated from high school, my husband got a job opportunity to work in South Texas. We lived there for fifteen years. We loved it! I worked at a family owned gift boutique for eight years. Most of our family is in this area, so when given the chance to come back we did. We have been back here for three years. We are enjoying being back around family. That brings me to my present position here at Faithsteps. I am starting my third year here. I enjoy working with the children and love my fellow coworkers.
My name is Andrea Larsen and I am very excited to begin an exciting new adventure by teaching preschool at Faithsteps. Our family moved to Colorado two years ago, which was one of the best decisions we have ever made. We love Colorado and all of the beauty it adds to our lives!
I am married to my sweetheart, Ammon, and together we have 2 children, Stockton and Bella. You will often find us outdoors soaking up Colorful Colorado every chance we get. We love to ride our bikes, kayak, walk our 3 adorable dogs, and play in the back yard. We enjoy camping and traveling but love being home together just as much.
My experience working with children began in 2014 at a daycare in Connecticut, where I cared for children ages 8 weeks to 14 years. I worked at this facility for two years when an opportunity became available as an aide at a local preschool, where I worked for the 2016/ 2017 school year. I love children and truly believe they are the future, so after we moved to Colorado I had the pleasure of volunteering in my daughters preschool class frequently, and also my sons 3rd grade classroom. During this time I developed a deep love for teaching.
I recently attained my Child Development Associate (CDA) and plan to use what I have learned in my courses, as well as my years of experience in childcare to support my students in their early learning careers and to instill a love of learning in their hearts.
