God Gives You Victory

God Gives You Victory

But if we hope for what we do not yet have, we wait for it patiently. In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us through wordless groans. And he who searches our hearts knows the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for God’s people in accordance with the will of God.
— Romans 8:25-27

That word, Hope, is synonymous with the words faith and pray. That verse means – “But if we hope for what we do not yet have, we wait for it patiently” (Romans 8:25). When you pray, have faith, for what we do not yet have, we wait for it patiently. Waiting patiently, putting your faith into action and praying with expectation, is not easy but it can be achieved. It is a continual process of prayer and faith, prayer and faith.

However, when life hits you hard through death, divorce, unemployment, financial hardship family discord, chaos, division and a myriad of other issues, faith and prayer can diminish because you don’t see positive results, like the answer to prayers. You feel abandoned, alone and don’t know what to pray, and how not to lose faith. That is when God sends the Holy Spirit to intercede on your behalf, with prayers and petitions, before God on the throne of grace. The Holy Spirit moans and groans because there are no words to describe your situation, but God knows what is needed. He knows what you need before you ask and the Holy Spirit prays for your needs to be met and prayers to be answered, according to God’s good and perfect will.

It is good news and reassuring to know that when you don’t know what to pray, God sends the Comforter (the Holy Spirit), to do what you don’t have the strength or words to do at the time – He prays earnestly for you. God knows your intention, your heart and true feeling, and at times feeling helpless and in despair. He loves you and will always do that which is in your best interest. God will always take care of you and work out everything for your good, from that meant by the enemy to bring you harm.

God will Always give you what you need. Do as God’s Word says, Fear not, Be anxious for nothing, because He provides for you and protects you. You will Always have the Victory because God fights your battles and says – The battle is not yours but the Lord’s. Remember - when you don’t know what to pray, God has sent the Comforter to pray directly to Him for you.

God will deliver you from the valley and get you to the mountaintop – just hold on, continue to pray, and ask God to give you a faith that will not fail, and a peace that surpasses all understanding. Then be obedient to His Word and Be still and know that He is God (Psalm 46:10) – the Deliverer, Healer, Prince of Peace and Your Heavenly Father, who loves you more than you will ever know, this side of heaven. Amen

Be blessed always,
Pastor Tracey
